What age is this baby carrier suitable for?
This baby carrier is designed for babies and toddlers from birth up to 3 years old, supporting a maximum weight of 15 kg (33 lbs).
How should I use the baby carrier for different age groups?
The usage method varies depending on your child’s age:
0–6 months: Use with proper newborn support.
6–18 months: Use in forward-facing or side-facing positions.
18 months–3 years: Use for sitting securely on the hip or front.
What is the maximum waist size this baby carrier fits?
The Baby Carrier can accommodate waist sizes up to 164 cm (64.5 inches). For reference, an average adult weighing 150 lbs (68 kg) typically has a waist of 85–95 cm (33–37 inches).
Is this baby carrier safe for my child’s spine and posture?
Absolutely. Thanks to its ergonomic design and we do have IGR certification, the baby carrier promotes healthy spine alignment, distributes your child’s weight evenly, and reduces strain on your back and hips.

Is the carrier easy to clean?
Yes. The carrier is stain-resistant, and most fabric parts are machine washable or hand washable. For best results, remove the core before washing and air dry. Avoid bleaching, ironing, or dry cleaning.
Why is the “M-shape” seating important?
The carrier promotes the M-shaped seating position: knees higher than hips, thighs naturally outward. This posture protects the baby’s hip joints and reduces vertical pressure on the spine, supporting healthy spine development.
What is the 4D support structure?
The baby carrier features an L-shaped core + 4D printed cushioning material, providing strong support while keeping the carrier lightweight. It’s designed for long-distance urban or outdoor use. There’s also a zippered pocket on the front of the core, convenient for storing small essentials.
Is the carrier C-section friendly?
Yes. The 4D baby carrier features patented 4D printed cushioning material in the abdominal area, which reduces pressure on the abdomen and avoids the C-section incision. Its U-shaped design ensures long-term comfort without affecting the surgical site.

Who is the AS5 suitable for?
The AS5 car seat is suitable for children from 40–150 cm in height and up to 0–36 kg in weight, covering an approximate age range of newborn to 8 years old.
It is designed to grow with your child from birth through early childhood, adapting to different stages of development.
When can I remove the newborn insert?
You can remove the newborn insert once your child has outgrown it and the harness system fits securely without the need for additional support.
This typically occurs when your baby reaches a height of approximately 60cm, depending on their individual body proportions.
How does the smart buckle alarm work?
When the safety buckle is not properly fastened, or if it is accidentally unbuckled during travel, the smart buckle alarm will emit an audible “beep-beep-beep” alert. This alert helps parents quickly notice potential safety risks and take immediate action to ensure the child remains securely fastened throughout the journey.
How does the cooling system work?
The system includes three fans in total: one integrated into the newborn insert and two located inside the seat shell.
When the newborn insert is in use, the fan inside the insert activates to provide gentle airflow for smaller babies. As your child grows and the newborn insert is removed, the two built-in seat shell fans take over to ensure continuous cooling and comfort throughout the seat.
What are the installation modes for different height ranges?
The installation method is primarily based on the child’s height:
40–105 cm (rear-facing)

76–105 cm (forward-facing)

Can it connect to an app?
The AS5 car seat does not support app connectivity.
However, key functions such as cooling, heating, ambient lighting, and other features can be conveniently controlled via voice commands.
Is the seat breathable?
Yes. The AS5 car seat features a 3D fiber back panel that provides excellent breathability and airflow. In addition, it is equipped with ISCA™ core technology and a smart cooling system. Built-in airflow channels actively guide warm air away from the child’s back and exhaust it through a rear outlet, helping to reduce heat buildup and sweating during use.
What do the ambient light colors mean?
The AS5 car seat features three ambient light colors, each indicating a different operating status:
White – Normal operating mode
Blue – Cooling (ventilation) mode
How many recline positions does the seat have?
The seat offers a total of 8 recline positions:
Rear-facing: 4 positions (155°–170°)
Forward-facing: 4 positions (100°–115°)
These multiple recline options are designed to meet the sitting and sleeping needs of children at different ages.
The 170° rear-facing position is specifically designed to provide an optimal sleeping angle for newborns.

What warranty or guarantees are included?
Fenarrio products come with a two-year statutory warranty for material defects present at delivery (shorter for used products). If a product cannot be repaired or replaced, you may request a refund or price reduction. Some exceptions apply, including consumables, normal wear, misuse, unauthorized modifications, and items not originating from Fenarrio.
